In this technology age it is easy to for hundreds of people to see one little thing you might have posted, and for it to ruin your life. In the three articles "College Prospects are Being Watched on Facebook and Twitter", "37 Percent Of Employers Use Facebook To Pre-Screen Applicants" and "This is How a Woman's Offensive Tweet Became the World's Top Story" they all show how one picture or a careless tweet can stop you from having a job, or could even get you fired. It is amazing how easily a potential employer could see everything about you and what you are, and have done. I believe that looking at a potential employee's Facebook or twitter is ok, as long as they don't go as far as asking for all of there passwords for everything they do. Also, I don't think that it is alright for someone to fire someone just because of a stupid tweet. We all do something stupid or careless every now and then, but it should not ruin your career, we are only human. Now since I do not have an active social networking account (Facebook or twitter) there is not as much for me to worry about, the only things I have to worry about is someone else posting something stupid about me.
